There are many ways to sell your handmade crafts these days. Although we still recommend getting out and about. Hitting the local markets etc, there are great ways to also reach buyers all over the world. We had a look at over Twenty sites and nailed it down to our Top 3 Favourites.

Madeit.com.au is Australia's premier online buying and selling destination for handmade & independantly created items. They showcase Australia's most creative art, design & crafting talent. Lovers of amazing handmade and independantly created products can purchase items on madeit direct from the sellers with products ranging from fashion, art, homewares, accessories, stationery, toys, children and babies clothing and much much more. Anyone is welcome to sell their products on madeit as long as they currently reside within Australia territory and the product they are selling is their own independently created item. It does not matter if you create for a living or as a hobbiest - you are more than welcome to sell on madeit.

Folksy is a place to buy and sell hand crafted or designed work from UK designer-makers. You have probably heard it is very much like an Etsy set up. It's so much more than that! They have craft lessons and a more personal feel about them. Although it is only for UK sellers, most do deliver worldwide. This really is a site worth looking at.

Of course we cannot go past the biggest of them all! Etsy is a platform that can answer all of your needs. Wherever you are based around the world.

With some really amazing features for discovering new things — such as a "time machine," "pounce" to find new items, geolocator, shop local options and even the facility to see whose birthday it is, despite having been arond for some time, Etsy keeps its store concept fresh.

With so many sellers, they must be doing something right. I have to admit that I browse these three platforms at least twice a week.

If you have a platform you have had success with drop us a line!
