Unrequited love revolves around passion and the intrinsic beauty of personality with highs and lows and when replayed in the mind always ties to a soundtrack, one which will soon be by the Brisbane based Alternative Rock outfit of four, Sunhaus.
Expressing their romantic stories that explore joy and pain, Sunhaus will be surfacing with their debut single ‘Realignment’ in late April after having recorded in the studio (Alchemix) for the first time since they formed in late 2015. The launch will have them supporting Mike Scala (New York, USA) who is touring Australia April/ May.
The groups emotive songs are endowed with shivering vocal harmonies that sit amongst their post-rock songwriting and arrangement that brings Marilyn Monroe’s lips to colour in her black and white films.

‘Realignment’ with its uplifting yet melancholic vibes, pedaled piano, echoey synth and vocal solos expresses the speechlessness one feels in the situation of absolute awe and drunkenness. The chorus, “I've got time to realign to anything you might now need,” was written whilst in this exact moment.
Since forming each individual has transformed with the help of their mentor - a therapist that each member of the band sat down with individually before having sessions altogether. These sessions, which are not heard of for an emerging local act has developed the band's inspiration, motivation and overall goals.
With a clear game plan, Sunhaus have more tracks up their sleeves and are already preparing for the debut EP which will be released in October alongside their first East Coast tour to Sydney and Melbourne.
