Best Email Ever!! Meet Al Moghadam

So this is the kind of post IndieLove Magazine just loves to write! Going through our submissions today we happened to stumble across an email that had us giggling. Why? Because it was quite possibly the worst or best we've seen so far. You decide. But to us it was absolutely one of the best!!! This is how it went:

Hey! I make music mainly, but I write and draw too. Here's some of my stuff I expect this to go down like a lead balloon, but hey. I'm tryin' here! :) Thanks, Al

Okay first of all I know it's short. But what got us is that if you've ever tried to submit to a magazine or company, you'd be surprised the standards and hoops you have to jump through just to get noticed. Sometimes they want to see achievements or stand out accolades just to take a peek. Even as an Author I know what it's like to have a certain amount of stars or reviews even to be considered. So imagine how happy we felt when we spotted this very short and simple email. It's people like Al who remind us why we started IndieLove Magazine and blog for a reason. Because we wanted to give one in the creative arts world a chance to be seen! Now Al, if you're reading this. A little more detail would help you out lol. But then again this one most definitely caught our attention.

So without another minute to wait we would like to introduce you to: Al Moghadam

We didn't have much to go off from that email so we thought we would scout around and find out who this quirky young man was and much to our surprise this boy has some talent!

Yes Al is quite the talent with his drawings. If you head to his website you can check out some of his other work. I mean how cool would this look as a comic series or on the front of a zine? So be sure to head on over and check them all out.

And now for the best part... We were lucky enough to find Al on Soundcloud and he completely knocked our mouths open with one of his songs. Yes this young man also has a set of pipes on him and pretty soon we found ourselves maybe dancing around the office...maybe putting the song on replay. OKAY!!! So we put it on our website so every time someone visits our site this week they are lucky enough to hear it! That's right we LOVE his song Little Ghost, it's friggin awesome. Even though he has some more great ones to listen too. This one by far needs to be added to your playlist. And we here at IndieLove hope that he one day releases an album and sends us another email !!!!
